Live Inventory Accounting

Odoo 18-style journal entries for every receipt and delivery, back in Odoo 19.

Odoo 19 only posts stock to the ledger when a bill or invoice is posted, so goods you have received but not been billed for are missing from the balance sheet until the month-end closing. This add-on posts one journal entry per stock move as goods arrive and leave, through interim accounts, so your books and your warehouse agree every day. Nothing is installed in Odoo.

What it does

• One journal entry per receipt, delivery and return, linked to the transfer
• Goods received not billed and delivered not invoiced on their own interim accounts
• Revaluations from bills and landed costs posted as they happen
• Review mode first: see every entry before anything is posted
• Valuation vs accounting reconciliation, any day of the month

How it works

1. 1
   Connect Odoo

   An Odoo 19 user with Inventory and Invoicing access and an API key. No module to install.

   Pick accounts and a start date

   Choose the stock journal, the two interim accounts and the date to start from.

3. 3
   Review what would be posted

   Every receipt, delivery and return since the start date, as journal entries, nothing posted yet.

   Switch on posting

   Draft entries for your accountant, or post automatically every 15 minutes.
